Our Projects
Butuanon
Butuanon, a South Visayan language, has been historically spoken in Northeastern Mindanao, primarily within the province of Agusan del Norte.
According to the National Commission for Culture and Arts, its number of speakers has seen a significant decline over the years. Collaborating with church elders in Butuan, efforts are underway to revive and preserve this historic Philippine language through Bible translation initiatives, emphasizing the cultural and linguistic roots of the Butuanon people.
