Our Projects
Cortesanon
Cortesanon, the language spoken by the people of Cortes, exhibits linguistic diversity with a range of dialects, including Cebuano, Tandaganon, and Boholano, adding to the cultural diversity of the region.
Cortes, located along the eastern coast facing the Philippine Sea, boasts natural treasures like marine sanctuaries and beautiful beaches, providing a rich source of seafood and picturesque landscapes. The presence of these coastal sanctuaries and lush landscapes not only contributes to the cultural identity but also sustains the livelihoods of the Cortes community, which is deeply rooted in agriculture, influenced by the distinct wet and dry seasons.
