Dibabawon

The term "Dibabawon" originates from the native word "dibabaw," meaning "at the top" or "victorious."

According to an ancient Dibabawon chieftain named Madabon, this name symbolizes their position of prominence and success in the region. While hunting is a common livelihood for the Dibabawon people, the distribution of what's caught reflects their strong sense of community and fairness. Their distinct way of speaking, characterized by a snarling tone, sets them apart from neighboring tribes and adds to their unique cultural identity.
