Lower Ayangan
The Ayangan Tribe holds a pivotal place in the province of Ifugao, Philippines, with a significant presence in various municipalities such as Lamut, Asipulo, and Aguinaldo, and potentially in three more.
These communities, including the one in Mayaoyao, not only contribute to the province's cultural diversity but also retain their distinct Ayangan language and cultural traditions. As an Indigenous tribe in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) of Luzon, Philippines, the Ayangan people have a rich cultural heritage deeply rooted in their ancestral origins, making them an integral part of the region's indigenous tapestry.
