Talacogon
Talacognon, named after the thriving cogon grass, is located in the Agusan basin of Agusan del Sur, in the northeastern part of Mindanao.
The indigenous people here were Christianized in the 18th century and have a rich agricultural heritage, cultivating fruits, crops, and the Palacata tree. They have maintained a modest economic status and are deeply rooted in the region's agricultural history.
