The term "Yogad," or "logad," finds its roots in the Ibanag word "ugad," signifying elevated garden patches or seed plots.
Yogad is an indigenous language spoken by the Yogad tribe, primarily in Echague and a few neighboring towns in the province of Isabela, Philippines. The Yogad people prioritize the unity and resilience of the family unit, and they hold dear to their rich clan culture as integral aspects of their identity and heritage, embodying the essence of their language, culture, and origins.
